From 15th to 26th July 2024, the S-Bahn line between Stuttgart-Vaihingen and the airport will be closed. Passengers are recommended to inform themselves about the train replacement services and to use the tram U6.
Since February 1, 2023, Carsten Poralla is Managing Director of Flughafen Stuttgart GmbH. He is in charge of Non-Aviation, which comprises Construction and Real Estate, Infrastructure and IT and Master Planning for Stuttgart Airport.
Since 2023, he is member of the Supervisory Board of Baden-Airpark GmbH at Karlsruhe/Baden-Baden Airport, Chairman of the Supervisory Board of HSG Flughafen Stuttgart Handels- und Service GmbH and Managing Director of Projektgesellschaft Neue Messe GmbH & Co. KG. Carsten Poralla is also a shareholder representative on the supervisory boards of SAG Stuttgart Airport Ground Handling GmbH, S. Stuttgart Ground Services GmbH and Flughafen Stuttgart Energie GmbH.
