Anyone bringing someone to the airport can use the Kiss & Fly zone directly in front of the terminals - free of charge for up to 8 minutes. Entry and exit is via automatic barriers to keep traffic flowing smoothly. A fee is charged for longer stays.

There are also suitable facilities for cyclists: Numerous parking facilities are available near the terminals and at several parking garages.

The new mobility station at parking garage P14 also offers

• weatherproof, lockable bike boxes
• a service station for minor repairs

Each airline determines the size and number of items of hand baggage individually - often depending on the fare booked. The exact details can be found on the flight ticket, in the booking confirmation or on the website of the respective airline.

Baby food may be carried in the quantity required for the duration of the journey.

Each terminal has its own security checkpoint. All gates can be reached quickly from there.

There is also a Smart Lane on the departures level of Terminal 2: you can book a time slot for this free of charge - and avoid long waiting times.

A stroller can be checked in after the check-in at the bulky baggage counter in Terminal 3, Departures level. Rental buggies are also available on site and can be used right up to the gate.

The regulations for minors traveling alone vary depending on the airline.

The Airport Medical Center provides medical care at the airport. There is also:

• a first-aid station
• paramedics who establish contact with hospitals in the area in an emergency
  
• a pharmacy in Terminal 3, departures level

In urgent emergencies, paramedics can be reached via the emergency number 112.

A prayer and retreat room is located in Terminal 3 arrivals level.

The public area of the terminals is also accessible at night. A valid ticket is required.
