Airport fire brigade personnel
The Stuttgart Airport Fire Department currently has 126 full-time firefighters. To ensure that operations run smoothly at all times, 2 guard shifts work alternately on a 24-hour basis.
Minimum strength per 24-hour shift:
19 firefighters in the East fire station and 7 firefighters in the West fire stationt - including an operational command on duty - are continuously on duty.
