Our claim

Stuttgart Airport connects: Baden-Württemberg with the world, holidaymakers with their destinations, newcomers with their home, long-distance lovers with each other, people with their friends abroad, and companies, research institutes and cultural institutions with locations worldwide. We are Baden-Württemberg’s regional airport.

Our mission: Making Baden-Württemberg accessible worldwide. After all, a contemporary society needs an efficient airport. More than 19 million people live in the catchment area of Stuttgart Airport. In one of Europe’s leading economic regions, the airport provides connections to European hubs and many other destinations.

We want to make this mobility as sustainable and climate-friendly as possible.

The guiding principle of fairport STR shapes our corporate strategy. We take responsibility: for our employees, for the environment, for the economy and for the people in the region.

Transparency

Depart. Report 2023

In its latest report, Stuttgart Airport openly reveals its economic, social and environmental performance – for all stakeholders.

fairport code

The fairport is based on binding values and clear guidelines for our employees.

The fairport code describes what is important to us: our values, our understanding of sustainability and how we work together – with each other, with customers, with business contacts, with competitors, with authorities and other stakeholders. The current version has been in effect since March 2024. It also includes our environmental policy.

Suspected violation?

Has the content of the fairport code been violated? Are there any indications of company-related criminal offences, administrative offences or serious violations of rules affecting Flughafen Stuttgart GmbH or one of its subsidiaries? The airport has an anonymous reporting system for such reports.

fairport Advisory Board

In February 2014 the airport company became the first in the industry to establish a scientific sustainability advisory board. The scientists contribute their expertise particularly to questions that require a great deal of foresight. They provide important impetus and support the airport in its efforts to remain a pioneer in sustainability.
