Practical phases: Insights into the IT world of the airport
During the practical phases, students are assigned to either the IT Services department for corporate management or the IT Infrastructure Services department. The tasks are based on specific projects and current issues in the respective departments.
IT services for corporate management
Planning, implementation and operation of central IT systems for corporate management
Project management in the area of strategic change management
Collaboration on organizational development projects
Analysis and optimization of business processes
Collaboration in interdisciplinary teams for digital development
Participation in the development of strategic IT concepts
IT infrastructure services
Planning and operation of innovative, multi-client capable IT systems and networks
Further development of the system and network landscape
Ensuring the stable operation of information and communication technology
Integration of technical solutions into existing systems
Support for complex IT projects - from conception to implementation
Use of modern technologies to increase efficiency in IT
Commercial tasks such as processing orders and invoices, creating presentations and evaluations in Excel or SAP are also part of the field of activity.
In the final semester, a practice-oriented Bachelor's thesis is written - with direct reference to a topic from the corporate environment.

Students work in the respective department and take on their own projects - from planning to implementation, in close cooperation with the team.
