Stuttgart Airport connects: Baden-Württemberg with the world; travellers with their holiday destinations; newcomers with their home regions; those in long-distance relationships with one another; people with their friends abroad; and companies, research institutes and cultural organisations with locations worldwide. The airport is Baden-Württemberg’s regional airport.
Our mission: to make Baden-Württemberg accessible worldwide. After all, a modern society needs an efficient airport. More than 19 million people live in Stuttgart Airport’s catchment area. In one of Europe’s leading economic regions, the airport provides connections to European hubs and many other destinations.
The Group’s strategy is guided by the principle of taking responsibility for its staff, the environment, the economy and the people of the region.

fairport Code
The fairport Code sets out what is important to Stuttgart Airport: its values, its understanding of sustainability and its approach to working together – amongst ourselves, with customers, business contacts, competitors, public authorities and other stakeholders. The current version of the Code of Conduct has been in force since March 2024. It also includes our environmental policy.
The corporate values we have jointly established shape our corporate culture and foster a sense of unity. These are: fairness, team spirit, respect, credibility and flexibility.

2025 Report
In this integrated report, Flughafen Stuttgart GmbH provides its stakeholders and interested parties with a clear overview of the airport’s performance during the past financial year.The report contains information on key performance indicators, the regional airport’s strategic direction for the future and the status of current projects.
The ‘fairport’ programme included in the report sets out economic, social and environmental objectives, as well as specific steps we intend to take to achieve them. The implementation and effectiveness of these measures are regularly reviewed and, where necessary, additional measures are introduced.
Staying at the forefront
fairport Advisory Board
In February 2014, the airport operator became the first company in the sector to establish a scientific sustainability advisory board. The scientists contribute their expertise, particularly on issues that require a long-term perspective. They provide important impetus and help the airport to remain at the forefront.
