Instruction for the airside security area

Anyone wishing to enter or drive through certain areas of the safety zone unaccompanied requires a valid authorisation - either a basic or driving authorisation, depending on the activity.

Good to know: All training courses are subject to a fee and are conducted by FSG's training centre (Training Aviation).

The training courses can also be held in English on request.

Initial training

The initial training is mandatory for all those who:

  • have received their Airport ID Card for the first time (the training must be completed within 4 weeks),
  • are returning after an absence of more than 12 months,
  • have lost their authorisation because they have not attended refresher training.

Refresher training

Anyone who already has a valid basic or driving licence must complete refresher training in good time before it expires.

This is possible from 3 months before the licence expires.
