Taxiway authorization (RA)

Procedure, price and registration

Anyone who holds a taxiway authorization (RA) may enter and drive on the taxiway and apron taxiways independently.

Prerequisites

valid airport ID card with area of validity A
Official class B driving license
Driving authorization apron (FVF), valid for at least 3 months
Regular activity on the tarmac

Dates

Theory: By arrangement. There is a final test at the end.
Practice: Also by arrangement. The course ends with a driving test.

Good to know: High-visibility clothing in accordance with the applicable European Union standard is required for the practical session.

Good to know: You can cancel free of charge up to the day before the training course. A processing fee will be charged in the event of late or no cancellation:

Initial training: 71.40 euros
Repeat training: 35.70 euros
