Despite intensive preparation, there may be longer waiting times during peak times this summer. Please arrive at the airport at least 2 hours and no more than 3 hours before departure. Furthermore please note the regulations concerning your stay at the airport and flight and the restrictions on city train services.

News*
- The previous officially mandated obligation to wear FFP2 masks in the terminals has been dropped for travellers since 3 April. However, passengers and visitors are strongly advised to continue wearing a medical or FFP2 mask in the terminal and during bus transfers. Please also note the regulations displayed in the shops and restaurants.
- On board of the aircraft, the airlines' regulations apply there.
- Please also note that masks are obligatory on public transport when travelling to and from the airport.

- Digital proof of vaccination: You can present a digital proof of vaccination with the Corona-Warn-App or the CovPass app as verification of vaccination at check-in. The EU Covid-19 Vaccination Certificate is also valid as proof.
- The Aeroatoll airport pharmacy can issue a digital proof of vaccination when you present your vaccination certificate and identification document. This may take some time depending on the number of requests.

Departure - For passengers Departing from STR
- Before travelling abroad, please check the information of your destination country regarding general rules for staying at the destination and entry and test requirements. If your documents do not fulfill the respective requirements, you will be rejected at the check-in or at the gate. Information for travellers of the Federal Government
- Please contact the airline for information on hygiene measures on board.
- Only one piece of hand luggage (hand luggage + personal item, e.g. handbag, laptop case) is temporarily allowed at the security check. Please also inform yourself about the regulations of your airline.
- Store all the contents of your pockets and smaller items in your cabin baggage or your jacket.
- Please observe the passenger information of the federal police.
Arrival - For passengers arriving at STR
- Please refer to the Covid-19 entry regulations for information on testing and quarantine requirements. Passengers must be tested for SARS-CoV-2 prior to departure to Germany. Separate regulations may apply for vaccinated and recovered persons.

- Wearing a medical mask is mandatory at the airport. In the terminals, in public transport and air traffic, persons of 18 years of age and older must use a respiratory protection mask (FFP2 or comparable).
