Can I also use a face visor as a face mask?
No. According to the Corona regulation of the state of Baden-Württemberg, face visors are not considered an adequate substitute for a face mask. They can only be used as an additional measure to a face mask. Do I need a certificate if I cannot wear a face mask?
Yes, a certificate is required. It should be carried along and presented when requested.
Can I purchase a face mask at the airport?
Yes, you can purchase a face mask at one of the vending machines in Terminal 1 and 3 and in several shops (changes possible):
Can I purchase disinfectant at the airport?
The following shops offer disinfectant (changes possible). In addition, you can use the contactless hand sanitizers located throughout the terminals.
How can I protect myself in situations where distance to others cannot be kept?
All passengers and employees are required to wear a face mask in the terminal. Generally, a face mask should always be worn in public spaces when the required distance of 1.5 metres cannot be maintained continuously.
How is security screening currently carried out, in terms of social distancing and hygiene measures?
Keeping your distance to others and paying attention to signs and floor markings also applies at the security checkpoints. The contents of your pockets and smaller items, such as your mobile phone, should be stowed in your hand luggage or jacket. How many pieces of hand luggage am I currently allowed to take with me?
Only one piece of hand luggage is currently allowed at the security checkpoint. In addition, airlines have established their own regulations for handling carry-ons.
