After the registration you will receive a letter of confirmation approximately 4 or 5 weeks before the tour takes place. Details of meeting point and parking options are included. Stuttgart Airport can also be reached by bus and city train (S-Bahn) routes S2 and S3.

Our guided tour is exciting especially for those who have always wanted to look behind the scenes of Stuttgart Airport. After a short film that puts you into the right mood for your visit at the airport, you will go and see terminals 1 to 4. Together we will pass the security check and start an apron tour by bus which takes you to the airport fire brigade and the baggage handlers. Unfortunately, guided tours to the tower and cargo centre cannot be arranged, however, you have the chance to see planes take off and touch down from up close.

Guided tours for kindergartens and school classes last approximately 1.5 hours, tours for adults last approximately 2 hours. Please be on time: The tour will be cancelled if the group is delayed for more than 15 minutes (as the appointment might clash with those of the following groups). In this case a reimbursement of costs is not possible.

Every visitor is welcome at Stuttgart Airport. However, there is a maximum number of 30 persons per group. We will form additional groups, if there are more than 30 participants. The guided tour for these groups will take place simultaneously.

For kindergartens:
Small children under the age of 5 cannot take part in guided tours.

For school classes:
There is a limited number of free guided tours available for school classes. We are obliged to charge school classes a fee of 90 € when free tours are booked up.

For groups with handicapped people:
We are sorry that electric - wheelchair users cannot participate in our guided tours for safety reasons. Normal wheelchairs do not pose a problem.

Special guided tours during summer holidays:
This offer is intended for individual people, families and small groups. The tours will start on Saturdays and Sundays at 11.00 am and 1.30 pm.

Our tours are held daily including Sundays and public holidays. Reservations in advance are necessary. You can arrange individual times for guided tours with us.

The price for a guided airport tour differs for the several kinds of groups. A group of adults costs 170 €, a group of trainees, students or kindergartens (pre-school children only) cost 120 €. School holiday programmes and children’s birthday groups (of up to 15 persons) cost 90 €.

Tours are booked on receipt of reservation. The tours have to be paid 10 days before they start at the latest, otherwise tour appointments will be cancelled without compensation. If you are not able to come, please cancel the tour in writing or via telephone. No compensation will be given for cancellations made at short notice (7 days or less).

We offer guided tours for individual people and small groups during the summer holidays. We form groups of 30 persons from the participants directly before these tours. The price for these guided tours is 7 € per head for adults and 3.50 € for children. This kind of airport tours can only be booked for Wednesdays and Saturdays during the summer holidays at 10.30 am. Please note that registration in advance is necessary. Registrations are accepted from the beginning of June for the times specified above.

Please do not bring any pocket knives, scissors, geometry compasses, tools or similar on the tour. These objects are strictly forbidden in the airport security areas. In the event of such objects being detected during inspections, the entire tour will be delayed and may be shortened due to time shortages.

Drink bottles, lunch packs, skin care articles, other cosmetics, etc. do not pose any problem during tours! We will collect these objects prior to passing through the security check and hand them back when the tour is finished.
